A single Sagittaron class Battlecruiser, 500 meters of Aschen firepower flickered into the system seemingly out of nowhere, not long after the alien vessel began it's descent over New Vira.

Commander Cockburn stood silently over the console, as a red holographic display outlined the strange vessel on scanners, he was frowning slightly as his Lieutenant turned to face him.

"Confirmed, unidentified vessel approaching New Vira, we'll be within weapons range in one millicenton."

The Commander scowled for a moment, and then he held up his hand. "All hands, Action Stations, I want this smooth and clean, weapons hold until I've given the command." He ordered, while lights dimmed red, and alarms began to blare.

"All hands prepare for ship to ship engagement, shields double front!" The Commander called out.

The Aschen ship careened through deep space towards the planet, atmospheric friction glowing at the jagged edges of the hammer shaped vessel.

"Main and Auxiliary batteries have firing solution." The weapons officer reported.

Cockburn offered a slight nod, and then keyed up the communications.

"Unidentified vessel, this is the Sagittaron Class Battlecruiser Minotaur, with the Imperial Aschen Navy; identify yourselves or we will fire upon you."
