"Wait a second you're going to go in there while the two of us wait for any trouble?!" Cain stated in a slightly angry whisper. He sighed as he dismounted and nodded in agreement. "Alright, let's go Sister." he stated to Seriya as he walked towards the other door, giving an offhanded remark to his horse to stay. As he hoped the Sister would follow him he thought about what he said earlier at the camp as his right hand quivered again.
Oh what a bad time for his anxiety to plague him now. As he reached the door he started to take several deep breaths to try and calm down. "Remember why I'm doing this. I want to help people. I want to make an impact on the world." he thought. But then a voice from all those years ago came back. Memories of Her, slain by the evil group of men and women he swore to one day find vengeance it.
"Safeguard our land, you promise me Cain....gh...ha.." Cain visibly cringed as the memory of Her final moments came crashing back on him. He forced himself to suppress it, lest his anxiety grow worse. "So," Cain started, "Do Seraph always do the demon hunting or do they do other things for the Clergy?" he was trying to break the ice whilst he waited for any sign of trouble from within the area. It was also to stifle out the anxiety from within him. He kept one hand on his sword at all times though, ready to strike out to help Nero and Lucia at a moment's notice.
