Ally left Yui to practice on her own, going to tend to Aria who was shaking and making scary faces. Yui watched, wondering what was wrong with her friend. "Ari," Yui didn't like the metal bit in her mouth, it was uncomfortable, but Ally had left it in so that Yui would get used to it. If they didn't fix that horrible stutter, it would likely only get worse until Yui couldn't speak sentences without sounding like a broken wind up doll trying to get out an entire sentence. Sometimes pain was necessary for the greater good, any physiotherapist would know that. So while Ally marked out the bad points on Aria's body with a rainbow marker, Yui sat in front of the mirror, wondering what she was supposed to do now. The metal made her tongue feel all funny, like it was trying to hold it down. She wanted to suck on her fingers, but the metal would make her fingers hurt.
Yui was so busy making faces in the mirror that she hadn't noticed Mizuki rolling up beside her until she was being lifted up. Yui squealed in delight, unaware of the pain Aria was going through. If Yui was aware, she would have taken it away, she would have begun to glow and her hair would have lifted, she would set those wide blue eyes on Aria until she was fixed. Yui's eyes were red now though and using her ability wasn't something they had been working on in therapy. If they had been honing it, Yui's skill would have come in quite useful at a time like this. If they trained Yui, Aria probably wouldn't need to step foot outside again, Yui would be able to take care of the issues that were arising about Raven's most trusted pawn.
Her talent for blood bending could have been stupendous, she could have become Raven's best asset and combined that with her Goddess abilities, Raven would have been able to take over the world in no time. Instead they opted to keep Yui here, in an infantile state, unable to feed herself or walk. For the fake light, some sort of light was still needed. They could use the concentrated kind, or they would use the kind that came from someone. Yui's body had the highest concentration, or at least it did before the darkness had begun to effect it. Now there was no telling what her blood looked like, it could be as pure and glistening crimson as it was before, it could have turned a deep mahogany. Or worse, her blood could be completely black and on the way to tainting hr soul.
Xavier's holo began to speak, making Yui jump with a start. When she realized that it was safe to not hide her face in Mizuki's chest, Yui slowly sat up. Mizuki deposited her on the floor, near a pile of stuffed animals. Yui crawled over and pulled herself in, disappearing among the toys. Ally waltzed over to find her, Xavier and Damian growing aggressive to keep one another from doing something. Yui sniffled, she hated loud sounds, they were scary.
