"Erieda," He began. "I didn't mean to upset you... If I did then I offer my sincerest apologies and hope that you would forgive me." He said and she frowned. He did not understand what this was. he had nothing to do with it. He placed a kiss atop her head, confusing her further I simply meant we shouldn't take it too far, yet... We've known each other for such a short time and it just felt rushed." He said and she was about to turn to gape at him before his hands moved from her arms to around her, pressing him softly against him. She didn't want to melt into him but she did. He did not understand that the words he spoke, while beautiful, were irreverent, she shouldn't have any relationship with him, that wasn't professional, but she couldn't dare speak those words now. He pressed a kiss to the shoulder he'd bitten and she shivered. "I'll admit that this is a strange and unexpected turn of events, and it's certainly not something our people would approve of, but for all the consequences that might come from this, I'm not prepared to give you up just yet," He told her and he sighed. "My sweet, I want you to stay with me for just a little while longer... If we're to do this, I want it to mean something, you know?" He told her and she fought the urge to sob. Her tongue was made of lead it seemed as she could not find the words to speak to him. "Look at me, Erieda. Look me in the eye and tell me you don't want that too... Just say the words... and I'll back off." He said and she sighed before turning to him, though she was having a hard time keeping his gaze. "It is not that, I do not want you, it is that I should not. I came here to protect my people, and here I am yet again, being selfish, wanting only what I want and caring little for anything else." She confessed. "I've become...addicted to you in a way that is dangerous for the both of us, " She said and finally lifted her gaze to meet his eyes and was struck by want all over again. "There is something in your bite, perhaps in my blood as well, that makes it hard to thin of anything else, You could bleed my dry and I would not fight it, my thoughts are consumed by this...drug and it's effect, I've not had a clear thought since the first time and all I've wanted was more and more of you." She said and closed her eyes and pushed from him, not hard but so that she was away. "I should go, truly, not far just to my chambers, I just need to think."
