Molly drank some more of the coffee she had, undiluted by creamer, though it had enough sugar in it that it was nearly syrup. Still, she wasn't happy being dragged out of bed to go to a crime scene, even if it was one she knew she and Xiaolian could handle. The body was already dead for this one, and it made a marked change of pace for the woman. Half the time she was called out it was for a take down, not a dead body.

Another yawn cracked her face and she sighed. "Well, the locals are spooked by it. We might as well go in, figure out what's making all these big tough men shake." And deal with the occasionally doubting of their ability to do their damn job because they happened to be women. Molly hated dealing with the local cops. She headed towards the scene, still tired as hell. Geez, why hadn't this been handed off to rookies. It was the night shift. The rookies could handle it.
