The eel of a man directing the investigation, Officer Coofer, turned to see the two detectives. His rat like eyes gave them a quick once over, his tight lipped sneer vanished into a well practiced smile that didn’t even bother touching his eyes.

“ Ah detectives… “ he wrung his hands absently. “ Yes , James Coleman was found dead. Gun shot wound through the eye…” The beetle of a man lead the way. “ Hope you too have stronger stomachs than others..” He gave a scorn look to a young officer sitting on the steps , clearly shaken.

“ No one heard nothin’ no one saw nothin’ . 23, his folks haddn’t heard from his since he moved out. There on their way from outta town.”

The crime scene team had started going through the standard run about not long before the two detectives had shown up.
The body of mr Coleman was being photographed as the two detectives reached the top floor of the warehouse.

“ We got an anonymous tip he was here…We’re trying to track down who called it in since it’s not likely someone would have just stumbled upon him here.” Coofer shook his head looking at the victim.
