It was now time for the strategy meeting to decide on how they would go for the Capture the Flag operation. All twenty-eight classmates gathered in the classroom to discuss what they were going to do. This was without any guidance from their Conductor, naturally. "We're the youngest Group here, since we're all first years, so don't expect much." Cyrus was quick to point out with a realistic outlook, of course. "We'll probably lose against the older, smarter, stronger Groups." It really did seem like a stacked deck, didn't it? Jonah was giggling already though as he pointed to the three girls who had by far proven themselves to be the most talented here. "We have the Three Princesses of Group B!" It was their nickname because the three of them excelled greatly in almost everything they did, the top of the class by a longshot. "If we make a strategy based on supporting them, we might stand a chance!"
It made sense, really. The trump card Group B had was, naturally, the Three Princesses, Lise Windsor, Irina Reisser, and Emma White. Lise was the Ace, one of the Elite Four, she was nigh unbeatable and was quick-minded to boot. Then there was Irina, who had proven herself as incredibly dangerous in any one-on-one situation, able to fight with the best of them, a duelist at heart. And then there was Emma, who was as fast and as agile as a monkey - when she really tried, no one would be able to catch up with her. "I'm not an idea person, so please, go on, Jonah." Lise said loudly when several members of the class were trying to talk down to Jonah about how he was useless and shouldn't be talking. He wasn't respected, but when Lise put in her support, everyone was forced to listen.
"Emma should be in charge of the flag." Jonah said first, holding a finger up. "With twelve of the guys supporting her on the defense. We'll all be pretending to have conversations with Emma, and we'll make sure everyone knows Emma's the one with the flag." Where Jonah lacked in physical abilities, he made up for in brains. "If everyone's pretending to talk to her, the enemies won't know where she is and they'll be easy to bait and trap!" He giggled as if that was funny to him. "I'll be your backup, Emma!" Next he turned to Lise. "You and eleven guys will be the attack team, since you're fast and have the most combat experience, you should take the lead in getting flags." Lise nodded, grinning.
That left two, Irina and Cyrus, to be assigned. "Lastly are you two, since you're both strong at fights, but not at leading, you two will work together to hunt down and distract key targets and threats on other teams." So they would play disruption, running behind enemy lines to mess up with their plans and make it harder for them to attack Lise or Emma's teams."Sounds exciting." She grinned, and Cyrus nodded, looking forward to fighting alongside the Ice Princess. "I even have a list of big names and faces to target, so you two will know who to go for!" A strategy in three parts - Lise, the flag taker, Emma, the flagbearer, and Irina, the decoy.
