Practically manic laughter emanated from Kanade, who seemed to have recovered from her earlier terrified state. Nagisa wrinkled her nose a bit, playing with her hair a little.
"Didn't he invite you guys? Bit of a shame he won't be able to watch."
"Oh? You're worrying over him Nagisa? Ha! I knew you had something on the guy!"
"No, of course not."
Kujo soon came barreling towards them, laughing all the way.
"Yo, what's up?! Did you see that?! That's my roommate!"
"He just got thrown out, Nobuyuki."
"He'll find a way around it~ Come on, the performance might start soon! Loosen up!"
Misaka had just stepped out of the convenience store and into the streets when she passed by a pair of-- girls? A girl and a boy? She furrowed her eyebrows, about to dismiss it, but heard the tone and electronic speaker of a text-to-speech app.
She turned; the girl, or at least, one of the girls was using the same app she had. Not that they had the same voice, obviously, but she briefly caught the screen of the app on the girl's phone. But she wouldn't have noticed it had she not heard the name Hotaru Emirsdottir being mentioned.
Maybe they were residents of Blue Lotus too...?
She stopped walking, and stared after them for a bit.
...Maybe tailing them wouldn't hurt. She was a nonexistent entity. She reached up, pulled her hat over her head a little and looked down at her phone to make it look like she wasn't exactly following them, just headed in the same direction.
