A break in the silence, the bell atop the door rang and in entered a lost boy. Slowly, the Sapphire eyes of Miranda turned to gaze upon the boy from behind the desk she'd rested her feet upon, her mug of coffee steaming on the counter. Despite the cold weather out side, she was still lightly dressed, the tank top and tights combo worked well for her, allowing her to move freely, and plus, it looked good too.

She looked the kid up and down, raising an eyebrow as she took her feet of the desk and leaned forward, putting on a smile and opening her mouth to speak, welcoming him to the gym before he broke the silence again with his awkwardness. She blinked a few times; that caught her off guard.

She let out a half-startled breath and blinked once more. "Well, if I were you, kid, I'd figure out what you're doing soon. Any later and you'll be flippin' burgers for a living." She said. Then again who was she to give advice? She was only...five? years older than this kid if she had to guess.

"Ugh, teens....horny, hormonal creeps. He'll probably start hitting on me soon." she thought to herself while putting on that smile again. "Anyway, Welcome to Timberland Gym, how can I help you?" she leaned forward, an effort to be inviting and friendly, and a convincing one at that. She'd had practice. Idly she noticed the boy was soaked.

"If you're lookin' for something to dry yourself off, there's plenty of towels in the locker room, just took'em out of the dryer." She offered, gesturing broadly to the large opening in the wall across from her desk, with two signs that marked appropriately which gendered locker room was which. "Or...you can keep dripping on my welcome mat." She teased.
