Jonah was a mystery, and Rose felt as if maybe he had a deeper story than he let on. Still, he didn't have family connections to the Republic or anything so there was a chance he wouldn't be too hard to convince. Cyrus would be more difficult, naturally. "...Cyrus was pretty angry at his father for trying to stop the shut down of Project Ronan." She grimaced, but it was probably in bad taste to directly bring it up to Aria who was doing her best to pretend she didn't notice that name being called. "I should have protected you, Miiko, I'm sorry, I'm a bad Spirit." Miiko was her responsibility and yet she failed. Aria shook her head, a pained smile etching her mien. "No hard feelings." She said, repeating what Priscsa had said earlier.
Aria got up and decided to help with the dishes. "Sleep." She said to Miiko with a roguish wink, one that people who knew her before would recognize. But since no one here was really her family, they only saw it as a part of her personality that they couldn't yet really get to know, not until she got more familiar with the language and could express themselves better. But no one could deny the big sister instinct Aria had as she patted Miiko's head and tapped Prisca's shoulder. "I'll carry you, let's get to bed, okay?" It wouldn't do for Miiko to push too hard. "We'll be hunting for Sam's Spirit for the next few days, it's gonna be busy." She bade goodnight to Sam and Aria and hoisted Miiko's familiar weight into her arms, heading to their room. She gently placed Miiko on her position on the bed. Rose too was prepared to get some well needed rest, and it wasn't long until she dissipated into light and returned to her home in the rose, carefully hidden inside the bitter rabbit.
There was a three way call going on, all on Pablo's private server, where no one could get in unless they had special permissions from him, as the admin. The other two speaking were Lise and Orianna, and all three of them had something very important to discuss. "Emma White is a light bearer." Pablo said, reporting in to Lise and Orianna. They couldn't bring this up in front of Sam - or perhaps, Pablo was too afraid to. "I know." Lise said with a flippant shrug. "I lifted her glove once when she was sleeping and saw." Everyone here knew Lise too was a light bearer. "She wouldn't admit it when I brought it up to her before." Orianna was quiet, pensive. "And there's no way Sam wouldn't know about this, he's too careful."
But then, what could this mean? "If we tell L, the Senate will find out, they'll force him to imprison her." Lise said hotly, cheeks flared. "Don't even think about reporting this, she's my friend! I promise, she isn't a danger to anyone!" No one could think the cute clumsy yet skilled girl could hurt a fly. "Irina probably knows too." Pablo added, almost as an after thought. "Why would Sam hide this from us? Does he not trust us?" No one was going to report anything, but that still begged the question... why didn't Sam trust them like they trusted him?
