The flat blending brush makes a quick swirl in between Camila's fingers before meeting Juliette's skin. The brunette asked Cami to make her pretty, as if she wasn't already. But the statement made Camila feel a small sense of power now that she had full control over Juliette's face. She thought over the sudden question with careful consideration, deep browns focused on highlighting the girl's prominent bone structure. "If you have to ask me whether or not you should, maybe it's a sign that you shouldn't" She pauses for a moment, tapping the excess shadow from the brush on the back of her hand. Part of Camila feels guilty because, as much as Juliette clearly doesn't want to be with Ace, it probably wasn't the best move on Camila's part to hook-up with the guy. But what's done is done and as far as Cami is concerned, there won't be a repeat.
"Ace is great, don't get me wrong. But I'm pretty sure there are plenty of guys out there waiting to ask you, Jules. You have options." Maybe it's her standards that are too high, but Cami has always been a firm believer in never settling. She has made that mistake before and will regret it many times over.
Aaliyah announces her return with a statement about how Malcolm will be attending the party and Camila serves her a quick look. No words are needed really, Leah has become exceptionally skilled at reading Camila's many looks without needing a verbal explanation and given the fact Cami has had a thing or two to say about her...complicated... relationship with Malcolm, for lack of a better word, there's really nothing else she could say. Somehow she has always found herself in these situations, acting as a mediator for the girls and their boy troubles but never having any of her own. Not that she necessarily craves to have any, but the whole thing is just painfully ironic. "All done!" the brunette announces with a satisfied smirk, taking a step back to examine her creation and making sure every line, shadow and highlight is impossibly even,
She gives Juliette a moment to examine the results, praying to the heavens and anyone else that may be listening that she doesn't find anything to knit-pick at. She can hear movement going on outside the bedroom and assumes (and really hopes) it's Luke with a much needed energy boost.
