Vadik ate his food in silence, getting up once finished. "I'm going to tour the camp, collect my thoughts," Vadik said, pushing his chair backwards. Caspian smiled and nodded while Dakari stood up as well. "Would you like me to show you around?" Vadik shook his head. "I'd prefer to figure my way around myself, thank you Dakari," He said as he walked away. It didn't take long before Derowynn found him, and started to silently walk beside him. "I want to go home... Not fight somebody elses war," Vadik growled, dodging two solders who walked between them. "This is all insane, but what's even worse is that I'm starting to get the feeling that we really are meant to be here." Vadik noticed Dero give him a weird look, making him frown. "I know all you want to do right now is just get home, so you're not even paying attention to any other emotions, but when you really sit down and think about it... Personally I'm already forming some sort of bond with this life style. You know, fighting, making decisions, working with people for a common goal. I mean that's what me and you are doing right now, we're working together to go home, but maybe this is our home..."
Vadik stopped walking. He shook his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. Clicking his tongue, Vadik mumbled, "I know I sound crazy talking about all this emotion stuff, but this might actually work out. Not the war part, that part's still messing with me, but the instinct to step up to this so called throne..." Sighing Vadik looked around the busy camp, watching the people talk, or deliver something, or sharpen tools. It was amazing to watch, and to be in the center of. Turning to Derowynn, Vadik asked, "What do you think?"
