"What do I think?" Derowynn responded to the question, her face turning a slight shade of red, "What do I think?" he voice now elevating and nearby people stopped doing whatever it was they were doing and turned their gaze upon the two. "I think you are going mad! That's what I think! I think you feeling that in some way this is all rational and that perhaps you and I both belong here is lunacy! That's what I think!" Dero turns her back to Vadik and walks a few steps away from him before turning back to face him.
"How in the world can you think any of this makes sense and that in anyway, shape, or form either of us belong here? This is some sort of bad nightmare and both you and I need to wake up from it. I cannot explain why we are here, how we got here, or if any of this is actually real and that is what scares me the most! And I certainly will not put my life in danger to fight for some old man who claims to be a king and says he called us here to be his champions. How can any of that make any sense to you? What kind of nut job are you?" Dero continued with her rant.
Now moving back to Vadik and getting into his face, her finger pressing into his chest, "You can take that fancy sword you found and seem to have fallen in love with and go and learn how to use it so you can die for that old man for all I care, but I have no intentions of picking up a weapon to fight in a war I am not part of for some whack job that for all I know is a figment of my imagination. It's bad enough that these two women come in and undress and wash me. How degrading! And now he wants us to learn how to fight so he can use us in this war of his? I don't think so! You can do as you wish, but I am looking for a way to get out of this bad excuse for a dream and get back to where I belong!"
Elizabeth now came running up behind Derowynn and started to take her by her arm, "Mi lady, we should go back to your tent. You seem to..." Derowynn quickly turns on her, brushing Elizabeth's hand off of her arm and then pushing her to the ground. "Get your hands off of me! I don't want you or your sister anywhere near me! Do you understand me?" Derowynn is about to go and kick at Elizabeth as she tries to pick herself off of the ground when Dakari runs up behind her and puts her into a bear hug. "Mi lady, what seems to be wrong?" he asks her, but by this time Derowynn is kicking and flailing as Dakari starts walking towards her tent with her under his control.
Elizabeth gets up and brushes her off as Marribeth comes running now quickly behind the prince and the hysterical woman he is dragging away. Elizabeth bows before Vadik and says, "My apologies, mi lord. We will work to get Lady Derowynn under control. She seems to be distressed and perhaps some sleep will aid in her recovery." At this Elizabeth runs to the tent which by now Dakari and Marribeth have entered with Derowynn. Her shouts and screams are still heard and the people in the area are still standing and looking from Vadik to the tent and then back to Vadik.
Caspian now walks up to Vadik and puts an arm around his shoulders, "I am certain this whole thing is a shock to the both of you. No doubt the distress of the lady has sent her into this rage. Please do not take anything personally. At some point, I know you will be allowed to leave this world and return to your's if you so choose. Whoever is in this world will always have the power to summon you back such as I summoned you this time, but when your work here is done, Aslan has always allowed for those summoned to return to their own world." Caspian patted Vadik on the back and said, "Come, let me take you to the training grounds."
