TJ disliked werewolves, not because vampires were "supposed" to dislike them, but more-so because he had had unpleasant encounters with them in the past. None of those encounters involved vampires from Bellingstone, and in all honestly, most had occurred back at the start of his time as a vampire when he was constantly feeling wired and recklessly - and behaving in that manner too. He had too much pride to admit that any problems he had encountered with that species way back then had probably been because of his own doing, but needless to say, it was likely that his distaste for Bellingstone's vampires wasn't fair. In his defense, he wasn't incredibly obvious in the dislike. At least he didn't think so. He didn't go around talking about them, or bothering them, or trying to put them down at all. He simply avoided them, and preferred that they did the same to him. That was why the girl who approached his shop wasn't familiar to him by anything other than her scent. He knew she was a werewolf because of it, and maybe it was because he was over a century old, but the mere fact that she was a female made him feel inclined to be more polite than he truly wished to be. It was only when she asked about car parts that TJ pieced together who she was. Though car parts weren't necessarily related to the work of an electrician, hearing a female werewolf ask for them automatically linked TJ to the female werewolf he had heard ran an electrical shop in town.

"Looking for something in particular?," TJ asked as he picked himself up from where he had been kneeling, inspecting the bottom portion of the exterior of the car with precision. He stepped towards her and began to extend his hand to offer her a handshake, but pulled away when he realized that his hands weren't the cleanest. With a half-smile, he raised them to show her why he was pulling away so abruptly before saying, "I'm TJ, by the way. You that girl who does most of the electrical stuff in town?"
