"Well it was worth a shot." He shrugged. "Maybe it takes a while to kick in, the instructions weren't all that clear on how long it takes for the effects to happen." He didn't know what else could help, but he was still thrilled to be hanging out with the guy. "But I guess if we can't recover your old memories, that means you have to go out and create new ones. And you can figure out new things about yourself along the way. You'll get to know yourself all over again. You get to find out the things you like, the things you don't, what you think is fun, and ...other things." His voiced cracking slightly on the last part of the statement. "I mean, it would be a rare opportunity that most people wouldn't get in their lives. I would be willing to help with ...any of that for you." He gave a sly grin.
