――――――☆――――――Nyeira chuckled and rolled her eyes at Kat's response to her mother. Of course she knew Kat would be the one keeping her out of trouble, it had always been that way. "Thanks for understanding," she stated to her parents and she joyfully grabbed her best friend's hand and dragged her out the house, into the front yard.

"Ready for one of the toughest conversations of you life?" Nyeira questioned seriously. She always knew how Kat's parents were and she definitely knew without a doubt in her mind her parents weren't going to budge easily on this one.

Allowing Kat to run of with Nyeira, knowing that she has her entire future on the line was just not going to happen. If they allowed her to go with her, she would inevitably be shocked but also very excited. Nyeira gently squeezed Kat's hand in comfort as she spoke, "I'll be right here through it all. I have your back."

With those words, Nyeira turned, leading Kat towards her own home. Nyeira hoped this conversation would blow over without a huge argument, but she didn't hold her breath on that thought.
