Rei just scowled at Thierri's response, "Oh I don't think you could," She said gesturing with two slim fingers towards her own forehead. "I don't go for whole goat look ya've got going there..." Rei added flippantly.

But suddenly there was Iviri shouting some utter nonsense before even more strange things began, "What the...holy hell is wrong with you?" She exclaimed stepping as far back as she could. Rei didn't know if there was something wrong with him, or yet another thing wrong with the building they were in. After all was said and done however, she regarded Iviri with serious misgivings. "What he said... no killing us." She finally managed, this time. She was so far out of her comfort zone it showed. Magic was something that belonged in fairytales, tall tales from the dawn of time, not a civilized space faring society.

Trying to turn her attention back to what was going on, all she managed to catch was temporal and building out of it all. Something clicked in Rei's mind and she slowly began to realize that this might be why she had had such trouble with communications. "Well.. if we're somewhere or sometime else.. it may explain why I can't raise my AI." There was just simply nothing to pick up the signal. Alpha level or not, ships communications weren't exactly designed to go across time, just space really. "But.. I'm not sure how I like where this goes." She muttered thinking to herself for a moment. This reminded her entirely too much of the abandoned space station she'd found herself suckered into helping salvage out in the one system that had housed Jarrako Downs. Even Rei wasn't entirely sure herself how she'd made it off that junk heap after things went south.

Jolted from her thoughts by Thierri's request for help, she scowled again, "I'm not doing this out of the goodness of my heart." She said as she stepped forward to clear out the stairs and debris.
