Of all the scenarios that had flashed through the water wolf's head, this hadn't been one of them. Of course, fortune favored the bold and all that, but Tiberius was certain that if this was what fortune looked like...he should be bold more often! Any attempt to say anything after his initial salutation had been drowned out by Chaz's wailing, wailing that involved some rather colorful language that Tiberius was sure to note for later. Oh flames...that was a good one.
Not all that certain if he should approach the wolf closer, Blossom made up his mind for him by dashing ahead. Tiberius began a somewhat closer arc around the Tenneth as he walked to meet up with his friend. It was pitiful, and the Arlyne always had plenty of pity to spare. He felt like he should say something. Besides, they still didn't know if this was a prison wolf or not. Even if this wolf was just acting, it wouldn't be seeming to not play along with such a fine performance.
"Uh...we ain't gonna hurt you, sir. So long as you haven't been whippin' pups, anyway. The only thing we rebelled against was bein' locked up!" Tiberius said, trying to package his reply in a calming voice.
Not entirely sure if he was going to get through to the Tenneth, Tiberius backed up to where Blossom had been standing. He preferred to have at least a bit of closure on this wolf before they got running again. They had to know he wasn't just going to cheer up and jump them from behind later.
