Marlene let out a shrill cackle as the other woman tried to make a dash away from her, but the Combat skin provided some robust enhancements to an already strong individual.

Marlene didn’t make any attempts to run after Rei, rather she did a slow walk, with an outstretched hand. She attempted to wrap her mind around the fleeing woman’s ankles, the anticipation was building, even amidst the cries of the frantic Aschen crew trying to raise her on comms. She was zeroing in on her target, and was focusing out all other distractions.

She envisioned the woman stumbling on her own two feet, no doubt influenced by Marlene’s Telekinesis, stumbling and falling to the floor. Marlene then jerked her hand to the right, slamming a hatch shut in front of Rei, and holding it shut with her own mind.

“Run Forrest Run!” Marlene cried out, her voice carrying through the suit’s vox system.

She hoped to have Rei trapped, as the bulkhead slammed shut behind Marlene.

“Why must you run from me?!” Marlene called out “It only delays the inevitable! You think getting out on a shuttle will save you? You think you can outrun a Condor!? I’m your only ticket out of this system alive... but if you didn’t have anything to hide, why are you running?” She said, making fists and stretching her hands.
