"I believe it," Penny agreed, kicking his leg back and watching the ceiling fan turn. The bulb flickered a bit, but continued to glow. All the while, he questioned the morality of her decisions to brew potions. Sure, Skyva seemed to have a strong grasp on her mental stability and was capable of controlling herself. He could even believe that she probably meant well and was only trying to do the right thing. But brewing potions of death? Was anything worth taking things that far? He wasn't going to admit it out loud, but he was a tad nervous about the older redhead now that he knew exactly what she was capable of. He was more apprehensive about her than Liam.

"So do you think she can convince them to stop what it is that they're doing?" he asked Sophie, "I mean...what do you say to those power hungry monsters?"

Liam sighed back, emotionally, "But I can't lose any of my friends either. I would never forgive myself if something happened to you because I couldn't get there in time or if I make the wrong call. That's why I'm as willing to go up against others as I am. I know you don't like to fight, so I do it for you. This Nidorina...she sounds like a fighter. I just..."

He had to stop, choking on his words as a little bit of emotion came out in a little tremble of his tone. He looked away, not wanting to even look at Skyva, not willing to compromise his facade. For a moment, he didn't speak. He just kept staring at the ground as they walked. His sword dangled in his hand, but he still had the foresight to keep it from cutting Skyva accidentally.

"Fine," he finally stated, "We'll try it your way, first." He stared back at Skyva, a blazing determination in his eyes, "But I'm not going anywhere. I'll be right by your side, ready to defend you if something happens."
