The kitten's ears perked up upon learning that they were going to visit their potential farm today. Khyria skipped off to give them some privacy so that Erika could help Clover dress and feed herself. Clover felt a bit like a baby as Erika assisted her to the bathroom to do basic tasks. It was embarrassing, Clover's cheeks heated every time Erika had to brush her hair or help her pull up her undergarments. Today, Eamon had made Clover an outfit that was both cute and classy, but wouldn't make her too hot in the sunshine. It was early fall once more, the summer having quickly changed to the next season while they were busy recovering. "Clover is sorry Erika has to do all this," the kitten said as Erika placed her in her wheelchair.
She took the handles, the kitten nodding in agreement when Erika suggested that they meet Mallier in the lobby. Khyria was already there, dressed up in a spunky outfit no doubt Fiyero and Eamon had designed together. "Khyria does not smell anymore, Clover noticed." It seemed that Khyria had at last took note on how to put on deodorizer and take a proper shower. The dragon smelled of flowers now, making it not so bad to be in her presence. She still had that natural dragon musk, but it was covered by the perfume of whatever deodorant she had chosen. Mallier arrived in the lobby a few minutes later, grinning from ear to ear. "Clover is excited and nervous," she couldn't wait to see their possible new farm. She hoped that it had plenty of sunlight to take naps in.
Their ride to the farm was a long one, but Clover didn't mind. She leaned her head against Erika's shoulder as she often did, waiting for their vehicle to stop. When it at last began to slow, Clover sat upright, looking out the window. They were winding down a country road lined with trees, a dense forest packed beyond. The trees led up to a gate that had been left open, a field opening up before them. Clover's eyes widened as they drove up a hill, a beautiful house poised on top of it. The house was a barn style with a wrap around porch. There was a ramp that Clover could go up and down and warm light spilled out from the interior. Inside, it smelled of sugar cookies and had plenty of space. As of right now it was barren of furniture, but that could easily be solved.
"So, what do you think?"
