"No worries, dear." Azariah said as she left the room. "That's simply dear Fina's sarcasm mode. It's still not fully refined yet." Well, it wasn't all just sarcasm, it was even true! Stealth Units were good at sneaking around but they were not good at taking hits. There was a reason she had to defeat Jace at a distance after all. When Lita made her swear to not reveal anything, Fina's eyes flickered for a moment. What was going on? "What's wrong with you?" Fina asked, deeply disturbed by this. Minnie glanced at her curiously. "Uh? Fina? Are you okay in your head?" She knocked lightly with her knuckles against the plush frame on Fina's face, trying to see if something was wrong with the Stealth Unit.
"Why doesn't it work? Why don't my programs work on you?" The Stealth Field was seen through, the lie detector wasn't working, it was all useless! Lita was absolutely a threat to her, she was the one who could ruin everything. Why couldn't she just reprogram her mind and erase the memories? Wouldn't that be nice? "Um, can you calm down? This isn't how to be a cool android." Minnie sat down, panting a little, rubbing at one of her knees in worry. Cool? Fina's job wasn't to be cool, it was to protect her secrecy and the secrecy of the Reiss family, protect the Flock, right? "I trust my rival! And I'll make sure that this is a fair competition because otherwise it's lame!" Minnie crossed her arms with a satisfied nod, grinning. Fina flexed her fingers, stepping away from Lita, shutting down her emotion sensors so that they wouldn't disrupt her judgment.
It took a moment until she was able to filter out the emotion sensors's flooding her system with panic. "But it isn't fair, because of your-" Minnie shook her head, looking almost annoyed now. "Nuh uh! I'm perfectly healthy!" Another lie, she was just full of lies. "I'll do my best to learn, Lita." The silver maiden said, smiling cutely. Fina shot Lita a stinkeye. Maybe it was because of her programming but the red android was a bit attached to Minnie and her safety. Seeing Minnie sit closer to Lita than Fina was irksome on a few levels now and the android did not know why. An irrational anger was welling up inside of her.
About an hour later Fina, with Minnie on her shoulder, were encased in a Stealth Field. The concert was set to begin in about half an hour now, there wasn't much time left now. She kept a hawk's eye on Lita the entire time to make sure she wouldn't cause any trouble. "This is kind of cool." Minnie said with a fanciful giggle. "No one knows we're here!" Except Lita of course, she was the only one that could see through it all. "We're on duty right now, we have to make sure she doesn't cause a mess." This was such a danger, what did Azariah think she was doing by letting her perform like this? Lady Reiss was always incomprehensible.
