ImageMaybe Isaiah had followed Arabelle without no concrete plan in mind, and maybe he still didn’t have a plan. He had no idea what to say, or how to respond to what she was saying, so instead he just listened in silence for a short while. He wasn’t surprised to hear that she wasn’t feeling that great emotionally, and if he had to be brutally honest, neither was he. There was still a small part of him, way down in his heart, that felt a little betrayed by what she and Rowan did. However, he was quick to remind himself that they had just met him and Rawlings for the first time that night he found them wandering in the woods. It’s not like they had some long time friendship and trust bond that had been broken. If anything, they were on their way to creating some sort of bond, the likes of which wasn’t clear to him yet. "I'm angry. Really angry. At me and everything I have done to lead to this moment. The moment where I put two of the nicest people in danger because I'm selfish."

There was so much Isaiah wanted to say at that point, but couldn’t find the words to say it. He watched Arabelle as she went on to apologize, lowering her head as if she was about to start crying. Though hesitant, the boy reached over, placing both hands over her arms in hopes she would look up. ”Look…” the farmer boy took in a deep breath, attempting to gather his thoughts before speaking so that his sentences actually meant something instead of just being incoherent gibberish. ”I have no idea what kind of people you’re up against….i don’t even know if Rae and I can be of any help. But…” he let his arms fall back down to his sides, nervously clearing his throat before finishing his sentence. ”You can stay here as long as you need to….we don’t want you to get hurt.”

ImageThe Day's events ran through Rowan's mind like a never ending marathon. He had never been the type to worry. About anyone or anything. Well, if he had to be honest, he often worried about Arabelle's safety but that was mostly due to the fact that she was always doing something stupid and almost always getting caught doing it. However, this time it was entirely different. That situation had escalated to a point where not only was Arabelle's life in danger, but so was everyone else in the house. And yes, he was worried about them. Mainly Raelyn, but also Isaiah even if they had gotten off on the wrong foot, and though he doesn't like the other house guests (one arrogant asshole in particular) he also didn't wish death upon them. Lastly, if Rowan was being honest with himself, he was a little worried about his own safety as well. He kept silent, eyes fixed on the dishes in front of him, until Raelyn's soft voice broke through the silence.

"Thank you...for cleaning the kitchen." Rowan only hummed in response, not sure what else he was supposed to say. It was quiet for a couple of beats until Raelyn spoke again. "And I am uh sorry about Ben...he means well..." the warlock scoffed and snorted at the same time, though it was quietly and he was almost certain Raelyn didn't notice. "Means well"? That's the last thing Rowan would have thought to call it, but of course Raelyn's innocent mind failed to see the intentions behind Benjamin's actions yet again. Rowan wondered how long this had been going on for.
"I can leave you alone to finish, if you want." once again, the warlock didn't verbally respond but only focused on finishing the task at hand. A few seconds later and he was done. He took a towel, quickly drying his hands and before turning to look at the girl at the table. "Look...this is none of my business, I mean you do what you want but..." the warlock took in a short breath, not even sure why he was getting himself involved in this. "You need to be more careful around that guy...his intentions aren't as pure as you think they are." he stopped there, not really caring if Raelyn got upset with him. She needed to know the truth about this guy and if no one else told her then he would do it himself.
