Rhyanid burst out laughing at Isla's words, shaking his head. "I really doubt I can give him that special milk of his, sorry," he said, amused. She had a great sense of humour and he loved joking around with her. He finished up feeding James, letting her take him and put him in his playpen, and he gave a nod. "Yeah, let's eat," he agreed, and he went and sat down with her. When she apologized for being awkward and explained that she had to relearn how to date, he chuckled and nodded. "That's totally fine. I like to think that I'm a good person to do that with, because I'm pretty chill about most things," he told her. "And the food smells amazing, by the way," he added.
Yoranda smiled and shook her head when he said his sister didn't like meddlers. "Not actually push, but, like... ya know, try to hint at it," she said. She blinked when Birger started to talk about his mental state and all that, and she quietly listened. When he was done, she moved closer and gently grabbed his hand in hers. "If it's best to talk about these things then we'll talk about them. I don't have a lot to say about it, though. I understand that you weren't yourself when it happened. I'm not scared of you. I love you, and I want to be with you, and I have faith that you're gonna get that clean bill of health and the baby," she said softly.
Bastian blinked when Vlora said that the boy had never seen his tenth birthday, frowning a bit. "Oh. I apologize, cherie. I didn't realize," he said, pausing for a moment. "May I... may I ask what happened? I have confidence that it was not a failure on his bodyguard's behalf," he said. When she said that she wanted their children to be smart and handsome like him, but able to catch a joke, he smiled a bit. "Oh, but I caught that that was a joke, didn't I?" he teased gently. "Believe me, cherie... you are a strong and beautiful woman, and you would have remarkable children," he told her.
Shortly after Ingrid found the house she wanted to look into, Jerome and his secretary emerged. He was dressed in another fine suit, and he blinked when he saw her sitting there in that little dress she was wearing. How...enticing. "Miss Ingrid. Or is it Miss Pauline today?" he asked with a bit of an amused smirk. "I see you found your way here, and given that you've a book of real estate listings in hand, I suppose it's safe to assume you're in search of housing? Because I...would be happy to help with that. Would you like to step into my office so we can discuss the matter further?" he asked. He figured there was a reason she'd asked for him specifically instead of just having the secretary find her one of his agents to do the job, and he was glad that she'd come.
