These days Io's voice kept on droning in her head. It was funny - did Io think she could override robot programming or something? "You know the only way to keep Minnie safe for good is to kill, right?" Io told her snidely after wathcing the hovercraft with Metis and the rest of their family remnants flying off back to their home, the twin dead daughters long forgotten. It had nothing to do with Fina, her only job was to make sure Minnie stayed safe. "The only way to be sure is to kill Grover and Roderick. Can you do that?" Of course that made sense, they were the biggest dangers to Minnie's safety. Yes, Palladion was an odd man but he proved to be harmless in the end. Eccentric, yes. A threat? No, he was just a music producer.
"But I can't kill, it's against the programming. It's hard written into the rules." Io was quiet then for a moment, perhaps this time Fina had won. Well, it was nice seeing the brother, hopefully it would be enough to pacify Io for now. He was home safe, and perhaps this would mean he would get to mourn for his sisters that he lost. It was time to walk back to where Minnie and Black Jack were waiting. "No, not yet. Isn't this the best time to track Roderick's location?" What best time, what was she talking about? For now her duty was to remain at Minnie's side until Lady Reiss gave her a new assignment, right? "No, I'm returning to my post." This Io, while helpful at times, could really be a pain in the metallic rear end during other times.
When she arrived back at the studio there was quite the scene before her. Minnie's face was full of blood as the red ichor dripped from her nose. She was laying down on a bench as Black Jack watched her. Oddly enough Lita and Jace were here too. "What happened here?" Fina glowered, something akin to programmed anger spiking up. "Wasn't Minnie meant to have been protected?" Black Jack backed up, seeming a bit defensive. "She told me she could handle another practice, so I trusted her." He put his arms up helplessly. "But then she fainted and hit her face into the wall and then this happened." Fina decided not to pay Lita or Jace any mind for the time being. "You should know not to let her overdo it! And why isn't she in a hospital bed?"
"I figured you were on the way so I didn't have to?" Black Jack sighed, seeming antsy as Fina glared daggers into him. "When Lita arrived to say hi, Minnie insisted to give her a show as thanks. And then this happened." The Stealth Unit had no idea how to handle this sort of injury. Was she even safe to move? There wasn't that much blood, but she was asleep, she was unconscious now, wasn't she? "I told you we should've gone to kill them." Io sneered from behind, but Fina tried to ignore it.
