Prince Everett Thane let Jana steer him out of the main traffic area and into a nearby alley with Nellie. He was quite a lot taller then her and Nellie despite still being a young tiger. Traveling with them might not be wise, but right now, they were all the help he needed. Especially if he wanted to survive someday to kill Lord Corvus for ending his brother's life... and his father's.... And maybe, his mother and little brother...? Who knew what else had happened while Corvus had him and Korso locked up in the library. Fools.
"I am a fool." It was a growl, softly spoken as he leaned against the brick wall of one of the building shielding them from untold enemies. He fisted his front paw into a fist and slammed it into the wall, "We just went along with Lord Corvus, like blind fools."
His tail was puffed up and twitching like crazy. The grief, and anger were making their way to the surface now, unraveling from that pit in his gut where he had pushed them down in order to survive.
With a moaning growl, his sorrow began to cut itself deep into his bones. "My Father and Brother..."
He didn't care anymore... If his entire family was gone, what was there to do but kill Lord Corvus...? His mind was in confusion, and when he thought of what would happen after he killed Corvus, what then? His family was gone! He hadn't the training like Korso had to rule this Kingdom! And even now, who knew whichNoble families could be trusted...
This was all going on in his head, a cacophony of thoughts, what ifs and what could happen. It was too much and a grumbling growl stirred in his chest, as he ducked to cradle his head in his paws with eyes shut tight, "Ughh."
The headache he had been feeling since earlier suddenly bloomed into a full on migraine.
He was a mess, and currently unraveling.
