Once they entered the shopping mall, the maze of fellow shoppers suddenly turned in on them. Touko had to get off her bike in order to navigate the throng of adoring fans.
"Get in front of me! Push 'em out of the way if you have to! No autographs, please!" Touko's commands were largely ignored by those shoving merchandise in her face. The shop keepers were also insistent on having the Champion patronize them.
"Wow. Nice variety. REALLY good prices...ooh, a Nursery! That'll make hatching way less trouble! Hey, buddy, if we're gonna spend any money, better make it quick. I don't know how much longer I can keep them off me. Plus they seem mad that the Big Stadium game today was cancelled." She hoped to use Radegast as her bodyguard, but there was only so much one guy could do. "I have places to be! Get...let go of my leg!"
Finally, a break in the crowd! "Let's go!" No time to stop and assemble her bike, it was just a straight sprint! Years of hiking through the Unovan wilderness were about to pay off!
