"A song for fearlessness," Otis said, smiling a melancholy smile as he took his violin out and began to tune it. Within a few seconds, he was ready, and his bow moved across the strings. At first, the tune was low, drawn out, full of tension, but as Otis continued, his eyes closed as his fingers moved across the strings, the tune ascended, as if light was breaking through the darkness. A warmth seemed to fill the hearts of those who listened, like having completed a satisfying task or having done a good deed for someone without expecting anything in return.

It was not a natural feeling for the citizens of the Rock, but it was nice nonetheless. After a few minutes, the song ended, and Otis let the notes die off across the water of the river, before gently replacing his violin in the case and slipping it back into his knapsack.

"Hope that was to everyone's, um, liking," Otis said, scratching his head sheepishly. "I don't play much for other people so I'm not sure how great my performances are."
