Ash cocked an eyebrow, looking between Otis and M'Kama. What was bloody wrong with them? They were acting like children! Were they perhaps both demented by the sun? Driven mad by the heat like he was? He wanted to say something, but kept it to himself for now. Besides, they'd already completely opened up to these total strangers in the middle of The Bright, the literal worst part of the planet that no sane being goes too. And of all things they could open up about, they choose their actual mission.
In the army, that would have had you court marshaled. Or lynched. Whichever came first.
The Captain started to reverse his rowing to slow down the shell he sat in. "Well, seeing as we're on the subject of witches, and we all seem to have the same goal, perchance your group and ours, both being made up of fine folk I am sure, can work together in this trek? I presume you still search for the witch, and have yet to discern her whereabouts?"
He looked to the other members of his group. "Are there any objections to this idea?"
