"Are you alright?" Dominic asked, glancing at Riven as they rode, the wind whipping through her hair. "Yes, just nervous," she admitted, leaning back in her seat. She reached up to pull her wild hair down, fitting all of her pink locks beneath a snug cap. There, now no one would know it was her. Unless of course they noticed her small stature, glowing red eyes, pointed ears, and fangs. "We're gonna be fine," Dominic replied as he revved the engine. "Everyone will be too focused on the fighting to notice us slipping away." Riven nodded, but the assurance was not much. Lorraine would be watching them and others might wonder where they had gone off to. Riven shook her head, this was no time to be worrying herself, they had everything ready. Or as ready as they could have it.
She scowled when Viola yelled at her to stop looking so anxious. "I'm not your wife," Riven murmured, crossing her arms. Dominic laughed, they were going close now. Miranda and Wolfe were giving everyone instructions. They were not to die unless they took two others with them. Hopefully, if everything went to plan, none of them would die. Well, Riven's plan anyhow. She didn't quite care how the humans fared after today. She was glad to be rid of them and would be glad to be rid of these bonds. Viola sliced through the silver cuffs with ease, it was time at last to for the action to start. A Baron had scaled the gate, standing atop. Wicked was quick to send an exploding arm at him, knocking him down.
Just like that the fighting had begun, it was their time to shine. Riven looked at the others, who cut their arms. "That's why I covered it," she pointed to the hat where her hair had been tucked underneath. They wouldn't recognize her if it was covered, surely? She closed her eyes, took in a deep breath, opened them, and leaped. Riven landed on top of the wall, it was taller than she had expected. They slid down the other side, a fluffy pile of snow awaiting them. What did they do now? "Look for a mechanism to open up the gate," Dominic informed them. "Elise and I will that side. Vi, you and Riven look around here, it should look like a stick." A stick? That was oddly specific.
"A stick," Riven murmured underneath her breath. Almost instantly they were assaulted by a demon. It was one of a lesser level, but a demon nonetheless. The vampire back peddled when it jumped out at them, slashing. Riven pulled out her knife, using it to cut through the beast. Its soul piece glimmered in the snow, dead in an instant. "That was easy, now let's find that stick and get the heck out of here." She turned back towards Viola, hoping that they would not be attacked again. She had watched Viola practice the day before with her new knives, but Riven wasn't sure how confident Vi felt about them.
