Markus couldn't help but smirk when Lucian gave him nothing but praise for the tattoo if anyone were to believe it, it gave him a bit of a confidence boost to his skill as an artist, something he was passionate about yes, but not fully confident in his abilities. As Lucian said he was done for now with the tattoo, as he put his shirt back on and was beginning to eat the food again was a clear clarification that he was indeed done. Markus began to remove the gloves when Lucian spoke back up, talking about his own past, something Markus had done some investigating in and seeing how Lucian talked it was true, the stories he read and heard from the darkest corners of the city. He felt like a part of him could understand and even sympathize with Lucian, Markus began to open his mouth to speak when they both stopped in their tracks when a sound came from the front part of the parlor.
Markus looked at Lucian, then back at the entrance to the parlor, not seeing anyone else yet his stomach dropped. Who would be here? No one that he knew of, he even made sure that the door was locked, and made sure that no one would know someone was here. He slowly rose to his feet as he placed the tattoo pen down and began to slowly walk to the front, not making a sound as shadows slowly gathered below his feet, and a small dagger forming in his hand that was hidden behind his back.
When suddenly a tall, thin framed, short blonde haired woman with piercing blue eyes stepped in, she was wearing a black over coat with a dark gray scarf tied around her neck. Markus heart skipped a beat when he saw her. "Why am I not surprised that you're here, Markus?" the woman questioned with a sharp tone as she looked at him. Markus' hands began to become sweaty as he struggled with something to say.
"Are you gonna speak up or not? And put away your weapon, Markus, I just came here to check on my shop when I saw some lights on, again." she said with a sharp tone as she gave him a glare. Markus awkwardly shuffled on his feet when she spoke to him as if he was a kid, "Sorry, Molly. I got a sudden appointment and had to get it done, the client was a bit-" he began but was cut off quickly when the woman who was apparently named Molly put her hand to his mouth and stepped closer to Lucian.
"Lucian Mitchell? In the flesh? It's a pleasure to meet you!" she said with as she gave him a smile, Markus chuckled awkwardly as he nodded, "Yeah, he contacted me just a few hours ago and asked if he could have a private appointment." Molly looked at Markus when he said that, and gave him a raised eyebrow, "Oh? Is that so, Lucian?" she said as she turned and gave him a rather suggestive look, and a smirk in Markus' direction, who only stood there in shock at what she was trying to possibly imply.
