Having arrived at the hotel the previous night, Niku had been lucky enough to come upon an infinitely patient female employee who had, understanding that he was an alien from a very distant star system, explained everything about his hotel room from top to bottom. That included how the running water worked, what the toilet was for, what the hands meant on the wall clock, how to answer the telephone, and more. She had even shown him on a map where to go to get his gold coins converted to the local currency. Additionally, she had explained to him how to contact the front desk and then informed the overnight staff that an alien might call later on with questions needing to be answered. Once alone in the room, he had poked around for a while out of curiosity. He had done his calisthenics which he had not had a chance to do at the dojo due to the unfortunate Aschen encounter. Then he had proceeded to bathe in the tub and pass out on the comfortable queen-sized bed thereafter for the night.

Niku had woken up fairly well rested the next morning, albeit he had suffered a few nightmares concerning a certain Aschen female. He shook it off before getting dressed and heading back down to Gambit’s bar to get some breakfast. The staff, now understanding that he was a raw carnivore, delivered him a whole uncooked chicken. Once it arrived, he began to devour it with a speed and fervor to impress even the most starved of human beings.
