A large grin grew on Ash's face as Horik spoke, patting his hand against the handle of his revolver. "I am, at the end of the day, a great lover of all things that put holes through the bodies of the villianous scum of the universe!" He chuckled with glee at the thought as he watched Horik fish through her pockets, only to come up with lightly leaden hands. "But indeed, it does seem as though we shall need to replenish ourselves if we are to continue enjoying our favorite hobby." The Captain lightly clapped his hand against Horik's shoulder while her and the others responded to Otis.
Ash gave a sympathetic smile and a sigh to Otis. "Well Otis my boy, take heart and remember that they haven't tried to kill everything you love yet. Perhaps they have fallen away from the light, perhaps you'll even need to respond to their violence with more violence, but you can still uphold those ideals that brought you to the Guardians in the first place." He looked between the others in the group and gave a slight shrug. "Perhaps we all can."
One of the bug's that crawled from Bones' mouth skittered across the sand past Ash. The Captain turned to look at the shriveled man and grimaced in disgust as another bug crawled out. "Is he quite alright? The last person I saw expel that many insects from their body was dead. By several weeks in fact. Bones sticking out, flesh rotted away, that sort of thing."
