As expected, Torterra would need a moment to rest after opening with a hard hitting move like Frenzy Plant. Flamethrower hit like a truck. Diamond hopped off of Torterra, avoiding the flames as he flipped to the side and landed, skidding across the ground on his feet while continuing to charge the Aura Sphere in his hands. Guard Swap took its toll, Torterra's legs faltered, Lucy watched in shame.

Diamond looked up at Lucian, eyes widening as he widened his stance and he launched his Aura Sphere at the boy. Ordinarily, it'd hit no problem - Aura Sphere never missed. And in one way, it didn't miss, but in another, it did. It just didn't hit Lucian. Lucy appeared, using her Extreme speed to move in the way and tank the Aura Sphere directly, her own flowing Aura blazing around her as she fell to the ground, landing hard on her side with a yelp and a whimper.

Diamond's eyes narrowed, but there was no time to berate the disobedient Lucario, there was a Shadow-Punch coming. His stance was too wide to effectively doge, and he was too wiped, at least for the moment, to properly counter. His aura waned, and he crossed his arms in front of him, hoping to do his best to block the Shadow Punch. Maybe his arms would be enough.

Lucy skidded to a halt beside Chloe, rolling to her feet and shaking herself off before exhaling. "He's... never hit hat hard before.... be careful!" she called out to Lucian and Chloe both, as well as their pokemon, to let them know that the Shadow Corruption had of course bolstered Diamond's already impressive abilities as a human.
