Gengar grunted in mild surprise as the Aura Sphere was shot out before he could close the distance. He blinked in further shock when the Aura Sphere shot passed him, a move that never missed. He braced himself for impact, but it never came. A blurry form shot in front of him, tanking the Aura Sphere as it sped on. Having not faltered despite the two interruptions, he ran forward and proceeded to strike as normal.

Shadow Punch landed directly, right at the point where Diamond's arms were crossed. Even with his arms as a buffer and the shadow energy bolstering his power, the energy of the Helping Hand powered Dark-Type move penetrated through and sent a shock wave through the core of his body. The force of the strike, given the momentum of the Gengar's run-up punch, would be well enough to send him flying backwards. How he recovered was entirely in his control, as one would be able to do flying in the air.

The Lucian-occupied Gengar glanced to his left, noticing that Lucy had taken the strike for him. He gave her a curt nod of gratitude before eyeing up the aura-coated trainer in front of him.

"BAH!" he abruptly screamed at him as he swung, aiming to strike him from below, a small uppercut towards his chin. The Astonish would do little in power, but he wanted to scare the teen a little bit, potentially making him Flinch.

Meanwhile, Chloe listened to Lucy's instruction and nodded.

"Got it. Togekiss! Tailwind! Let's make them all faster! Slurpuff! Another Flamethrower! Let's take Torterra out of commission!"

Togekiss added to the magic in the air, boosting the speed of all allies, including Lucy. Slurpuff was already lighting the flames around the massive Torterra once more. Unless the massive beast could dodge, it would likely be knocked out by the attack.
