"A-ah, right," Akiko said as she closed her eyes and rubbed the back of her neck, even laughing a little, seemingly out of embarrassment. She dropped her hand but her eyes stayed closed, the exhaustion sweeping over her fully now that her stomach was full. Her body ached but she didn't feel the burning or tingling sensation. The spirits, too, were drained. It was highly unlikely they would take over in their current state on a plane full of supers. She could feel herself slipping into sleep but muttered, "I.. can't wait to meet...everyone" before fully knocking out.
