Collen listened how Korrin rambled on about not being better than anyone else. He didn’t fully believe that as actions spoke more than words. And so far much of Korrins actions hadn’t convinced him. If he saw him pull his weight on the ship, pull those long days everyone else did, his mind might change. He rolled his eyes and kept eating.
There was ever so slight chuckle as Korrin admitted being scared of Lohran. He knew that feeling all too well. Even just delivering his daily breakfast, Collen expected to be stopped by his harsh voice. “Yea, everyone fears him. And your luck is done with.” he glancecd at Korrin.
When Korrin asked him not to curse around Lemnia, the boy gave a little shrug. “Sure, whatever.”
“Good luck with that with everyone cursing on this ship” he thought as he finished his breakfast and got up to take his bowl away.
“Help eh?” Collen stopped Korrin with his words and watched him with sharp eyes. “Capt’n's soon finished his breakfast. Go get the dishes.”
He turned his back to him to hide the smirk on his lips as went on to his next daily task, to clean the bowls from breakfast.
