Edward scanned the room of now crowded contestants. Knowing that information was key in achieving a perfect victory, he looked on to see if any of the mutants in the crowds was worth saving and ones that he needed to be wary about. There were creatures of all different shapes and sizes, some gathering off in the bar others bunched up in the middle, mingling, and munching. Most of these creatures seemed like they didn't have anything special about them.

The elf couldn't help but reflect back to what happened on the shuttle. The muscular monster that he met, set on only destruction and fighting; if he were ever to join this Game, it would have had to be Edward's duty to kill him before further damage could be done. Fortunately, the red haired man was captured by the humans and nowhere in sight. However there was one more mutant that he met on the shuttle.

A butterfly mutant, who claimed to be the queen of her "people". She seemed to share a similar sense of justice to Edward, but that didn't make her any less dangerous. Her poisonous spores that come out of her wings, immobilized a big menace like the one he saw on the shuttle. That same toxic fumes came from the bight pink mushrooms of the Amazon rain-forest. Close to his home, every now and then, Edward would see foolish adventurers brush up against the brightly colored mushroom only to be knocked out and immobilized.

It was his and the other elf's duty, as helpers of the creator, to guide those poor souls out of the rain forest, so as to not taint the grounds with rotten corpses. The elves would take shifts outside of their hidden village, and if the travelers were to be found knocked unconscious, the elf on duty would carry them out of the rain forest. From a young age, Edward taught of different toxins and other various hazardous chemicals. The particular poison the butterfly lady carried with her was one of the worst ones. It took a bit of time to take effect, as it wasn't anything dangerous at a tiny dose, but inhaling too much would immobilize someone, getting some on an open wound would mean death to all the cells around the area and even bone decay. Just the thought of the poison made Edward cringe in disgust.

His thoughts were interrupted, as arms from behind grabbed onto his chest, the unknown figure leaning full force on his back. Quickly, Edward adjusted his weight to not fall over and support whatever weight was being put on him. Irritated, he looked over his shoulder to meet the orange-eyed, human-like creature. Her red hair was falling down on her face and her dark bow on the head, slouching back due to gravity, as she looked up at him with a blank expression expressing an apology, but not removing her hands from him. She held her position, even when Edward showed his discontent on his face. She then proceeded to ask Edward what his ideal spouse was.

Initially, rage filled him, as the concept of a forsaken race, the humans, caressing him, was a big damage to his pride. However, upon closer inspection, the figure that looked to be human did not act as such. What was more, was that the figure leaning on him was most likely a contestant, meaning she was a a mutant of some sort. Suddenly, rage turned into interest, as the elf grabbed the two hands gently wrapped around him. He let out a smile, as he elegantly turned himself towards the girl without letting go of her hands.

Looking downwards, Edward could see the red haired lady was wearing ruby red high heels. Inferring from how she leaned on him, he could tell she was not used to them. Her scent was was perfumy and no not a single scent of alcohol could be found. Plus, the contestants just got here and the Elf doubted anyone would dare chug down such high levels alcohol before the orientation. Hence being drunk was out of the equation.

Edward began to doubt this creature was human, as she wasn't used to the way her body worked. Furthermore, her behavior was anything but human, as regular people would have gotten off of him quickly, apologizing for bumping into him. Instead, she latched on to his body, seeming to enjoy the close contact. This human could either be a pervert or something more...A parasite of some sort? he thought. What was this creature, and why did it enter the Game? He was about to find out. The more information he could gather, the better it would be in the future.

Carefully pulling the red haired girl up-right, with his two hands on hers, Edward stared at the girl's eyes.

"Well, take me out on a dinner first. Then I'll tell you." He responded indirectly to the girl's bizarre question.

"The name is Edward, Edward Killedge." The elf took a slight bow, not letting go of her hand, so she won't fall over. "So what is an odd, pretty creature like yourself doing here?" He inquired.
