Fleet Admiral Éclaire Hanley
"FTL Jump Complete."
One by one dozens of warships flickered into high orbit above Bastion V. Some of them sported different designs, and some of them sported entirely different color schemes. One ship in particular was a massive thirty kilometer long bulbous behemoth of a warship. It seemed to appear out of nothingness, along with its escorts, each more intimidating than the last. Hundreds of massive angular warships each bristling with heavy weapons began to materialize one by one in an escort pattern around the much larger command vessel.
Around each of the mid size angular warships were a dozen or so frigates, cruisers, and escort ships that took up patterns around each of the larger warships until roughly one thousand capital ships, and thousands of support ships had suddenly appeared in the skies above the planet.
"Exit coordinates are confirmed, fleet is in position, Admiral. All Navy and Tech Con transports are present, and accounted for."
EVE reported as she appeared before Admiral Hanley as a soft shimmering visage of a woman. Several displays flickered to life in front of Hanley as she observed the data being displayed before her.
"Course change completed and on planetary approach. Startup sequence proceeding normally.." EVE reported once more, as a large shimmering blue hologram of the planet appeared before her.
"Initiating harvesting procedures. Startup sequence is proceeding normally."
"Tactical analysis: Indigenous civilization is minimal, animal life makes this world dangerously unviable. Primary Trinnium concentrations identified." EVE added, highlighting several deposits across the continent of Xamoyos.
Hanley leaned forward slightly to observe the display even closer, taking in every detail.
"All Transports launched, and proceeding at speed." EVE added, highlighting all the traffic coming and going to the planet.
"We're going to have a lot of animal life to contend with on the surface." Colonel Tyrus reported, as he offered Admiral Hanley a brisk salute. "In addition to the natives on the planet, and if the Exogarden find out we're here..."
Hanley held up her hand to interrupt for a moment, silencing the other officer. "We're only here to provide escort for the mining operation, and keep the natives at bay." The Admiral explained, turning to face her officer only to be interrupted by EVE once more.
"Primary settlement identified, Paguourano. Infrastructure is minimal." EVE reported, and Hanley offered a slight nod.
"Bring us in, we'll seize the spaceport and occupy the surrounding settlement. From there we can deploy transports to the primary deposits, and move into the surrounding jungles." Hanley added, highlighting potential paths of ingress. "We can deploy from here."
Hanley grasped the command console as the Reverence shuddered slightly, beginning it's descent towards the planet below.
"Analysis complete: I've calculated required firepower loadouts for this expedition. We will require heavy weapons, and armor." EVE reported. "Recommend deploying an H1 Loadout."
