In Sinfrost's mind eye, he imagined a dragon shaped like a bird, with long scales coming out of the wings and tail in the place of feathers. A bunch of them. Smaller than him, and flying in a chaotic hoard. Reptilian - that was another unfamiliar word. Sinfrost, being a dragon, was technically a giant reptile like being. He didn't know that, though.

Velociraptors, do not sound like friends,

Sinfrost said aloud,

I am glad they are not here, in these skies.

They broke from the mountains and continued over the Ellarian Tartarean coast. The sea crashed black onto the icy shores.

In truth, Sinfrost didn't know why that was his name. He didn't remember it being given to him, he didn't remember picking it out. It was just always who he was. It did have a bite to it. Sinfrost did have quite the bite.

I am the bite of the cold,

the dragon responded,

A being of the snow, of the frost. I am a dragon. Yet, in the cold, I am stronger. A dragon of the cold. I do not spit fires, as I've heard others do. Fire is hot. The cold also feels hot, when from my belly. It is not fire.

Sinfrost hoped that explanation sufficed, and asked in return,

Solaris. Does that name have origin?
