Sitting down Micheal enjoyed the peace. It soothed him almost as much as being with Hope. Though it pained him to think about losing her. He feared that he had let himself become soft and he may have ended up bonding with Hope like any of the alpha series would. Micheal sighed, and began to wonder if his face was even the same underneath the helmet. Before he could contemplate on taking it off Yena walked out of the shower. She was happy, and that reassured Micheal that he was going to be in this world for a few more days at least. After she picked up her spear gun Micheal froze. What if she was going to kill him? He wouldn't fight back of course. I mean Hope would be better off with Yena any day. "Now then Michael....thank you for feeding my Hope...as long as you keep her happy then i am all for you staying with us....just follow the rule....Hope honey, once your finished, brush your teeth and get into bed....Ill read you a story once im done" Yena finished with a smile. Micheal began thinking if he was capable of actually taking Hope from Yena. Micheal concluded that he would rather die than putting them in harms way. For Hope was Yena's sister, not his. He could never take something as precious as Hope from Yena.

Yes, Hope was safe with Yena. even if Micheal wanted to hurt Hope his big daddy urges would stop him. And if Micheal's big daddy urges wanted him to take Hope for his own. If he was unable to resist he would commit suicide to avoid that scenario. Micheal was a prisoner by his own compulsions, well most of them anyway. Micheal could still resist nearly all big daddy urges, but he was afraid there were new ones yet to come. Micheal could only think of one more way to reassure Yena that he meant no harm. He put a war worn hand on her shoulder, gazed into her eyes through his porthole, and he put his other hand on his heart. There is a man under here.... a kind man. That will never change. Hopefully she caught the meaning of his gesture.
