Micheal threw one of the spider splicers that lunged at him. The unfortunate splicer went into the group of splicers sending them all to the ground. Quickly Micheal sent a torrent of fire into the mass of splicers. ok that should keep them busy long enough, Micheal thought as he took off in the direction that his family went.

Micheal's head was still ringing from one of the bigger splicers. The damned thing had managed to throw Micheal into the wall so hard the side of his head was bleeding from hitting the inside of his helmet.

Fear welled up in Micheal when he heard more crazed laughter echoing throughout the hallways. More are coming!, a voice inside of Micheal's head screamed. He put an a burst of speed and began running even faster. Micheal suddenly stopped once he reached a fork in the road. Micheal's fear subsided once he saw a lone ribbon on one of the hallways. Micheal grabbed the ribbon with his left hand and continued to sprint into the reception area. Micheal used a small jolt of lightning to break the locking mechanism behind him.

Micheal strode into the room and was relieved to see Yena, and Hope. Walking over to Yena Micheal offered her the ribbon with an open hand, and a smile. Micheal would've hugged the pair, his head wound pained him to the extent to where he just wanted to rip off his helmet. Wait....., Micheal thought.

Micheal undid the air hoses on the sides of his helmet. He also unlatched the left and right side latches. After this was done Micheal lifted his helmet off of his head to reveal the face of a man in his late twenties. Micheal looked at a puddle of water to see his blue eyes gazing back at him. Micheal smiled simply from the ironic fact that he could actually see himself smiling. Micheal looked at the blood caked to the side of his head, it was drying onto his moderately long black hair. After he checked his head wound out he mouthed the word bandages to Yena, while giving a ghost of a smile.
