Kayl's eyes opened just enough to see Wendy in front of him.
"Wendy," he mumbled, "burning metal... Help..."
He struggled to open his eyes wider and he glanced around the room, taking in what was going on. He wondered what was going on while he had been drifting in and out of unconsciousness and watched Bridget looking at Wendy with angry eyes and threatening her with a club he faintly recognized as a Morning Star. It slowly clicked in his mind what Wendy was asking him to do for her and when it finally did, he turned his pained gaze to her and mumbled that he'd do it.
