Kar had greatly underestimated the power of the knight he had been fighting, and unfortunately he realized that this would become the reason for his demise. He didn't struggle much when the knight pinned him down; mainly due to the fact he knew it would be pointless. After all Kar had trained his abilities in speed not strength so in a situation with a knight wearing rediculously heavy armor while pinning him down with every muscle in his body he quickly realized that he would be unable to win in this kind of struggle.

The knight appeared to have given him the opportunity to speak before breaking his neck and he would certainly take it, "Aye respect your power knight but the next thing you will have to face will not just test your strength on the battle field and it is one aye do believe your fiery friend won't succeed in." Kar chuckled before continuing on, "Know this though, should you fail Callus and aye will be revived and all this hard work of yours will have been for nothing, in other terms wasted."

Kar died with the same smile he always wore upon his face; it after all was a painless death so why shouldn't he smile upon being so fortunate to not feel the pain.


Yarya realized quickly that both her allies had been defeated; perhaps she should face them, but personally she would rather keep her life. The dantalion may revive them since they were his more important servants but would he revive her? Doubtful. It wasn't that she wasn't important it was more along the lines of Goteia seemingly to hate female demons. Female Fairies and humans and anything other than demons he was fine with it was just when they were of the same family of living things did he hate the opposite sex. So Yarya was left with two choices the first one being betray Goteia and help lead them to the throne room since the castle could be like a maze. She quickly decided against this one since that could lead to Goteia possibly destroying her. The second one was run away; at which she was perfectly adapt. She had always wanted to live the life of a woman; after all she was one of the ones changed unwillingly and then forced into becoming the Dantalions servant. Still though should they fail she could and would be killed by either the big G himself or one of his underlings. Perhaps hiding among the pungent odors of the harpies where they couldn't smell her would be best; only moments later she was gone down the crystalized staircase and out among the harpy nests where she would wait.
