His mind was clouded with many thoughts, all of which were either about his lost amulet or Crissa. For over a year, he pondered over what to do. If I appear before her, what would I say? Dominique knew he couldn't do that, but it's not within his nature to give up on anything or anyone. He'd searched far & wide for his amulet after he'd noticed that it was no longer with him for a very long time, never once had he given up. & even still, he continued to look for it. His love for her wasn't any different if not stronger. All he needed to do was get over his shame & think of something to stay to her—easier said than done, of course.
