Raine winced as her chair hit the floor, and she closed her eyes until someone picked up the chair. What had been the point of knocking the chairs over, she wondered. She shook her head as soon as she was sitting upright again, trying to force the pain away. One of the girls had managed to get them to let her use a bathroom. She sighed through the gag. She would only be tied up again; no use in trying to use that for an escape. She looked around; it looked like most of the rest had chewed through the cloth in their mouths. She started trying to chew through hers. She didn't have anything to say to any of them, really; it was more just in case. She glanced between the kidnappers, and picked out the one that had allowed the girl to use a bathroom. She figured that he seemed to be the softest, but didn't lean too much on that; he would still have to listen to the other two, it seemed like.

She stopped chewing when the girl of the group started putting headphones on everyone's head. She waited until after she had turned away after putting headphones on her head before she started chewing again. She didn't recognize the songs playing, and wondered why she had figured this to be torture. She didn't like the music...but it could hardly be called torture. She liked some music better than no music, really...which had irritated her before. I wonder how long we'll be here...she thought, looking around as she chewed. How long could they really keep a group of kids in the same place, anyway? She patiently chewed through the cloth in her mouth, listening for anything that might turn out to be useful information.
