Marcus felt the rain fall, and he heard Tessa, her words broke his heart all over again. It wasn't really what she said, but how hurt she sounded when she said it He sighed, his clothes where quickly getting drenched. He deserved this, but Tessa didn't. She deserved to be in a nice warm bed. He knew she wasn't all that far away from him, so without moving an inch he yelled, "Please don't cry Tessa!" Then he said softer, but still rather loudly, "If you just want my help, I'll be happy to lend it. But you have to stop crying, please." His voice choked when he said please, giving away that he himself was on the verge of tears.
