The Path of History

Background
As Operation: Desert Storm was launched in Kuwait in 1991 many families watched from home as their husbands, wives, and children went to war. Dropping in from high-tech aircraft, driving into battle in hardened tanks, and patrolling the skies in the U.N.'s top shelf fighters, were they really ready?

Un-beknownst to the U.N. forces, it wasn't just the Iraqis they were fighting. This time, Iraq was prepared, with the backing of many nations. There would soon be a huge struggle, over a very miniscule, yet symbolic territory.

Story

Our story follows the newly-trained squad known as 101st Airborne's Alpha Squad. They were sent in as one of the first attacking groups, dropping in from UH-60 helicopters. The challenges they face will be incredible, but...

What about their families at home, watching from a distance as they are powerless to help the soldiers. They had to face the hardest challenge of all, pulling their lives together, and above all...keeping the faith.

Will our story follow the path of history? Or will it re-write it forever?

Name: Victor McKeon
Age: 24
Role: Military
Job: Staff Sergeant, Squad Leader.
Outfitting: Assault rifle, high-calibre pistol, and light armor.
Appearance: Very defined, handsome face. Soldier style muscular body.
Bio: Victor signed up to join the military the year before he left highschool. After graduation he went to basic training, leadership training, and tactics training. After moving around for a while, as well as rising up in ranks, he decided to quit for a while.

Victor bought a house in Charlotte, NC, taking up a job as a bartender. He quickly fell in love with this woman he kept running into name August. They settled in together eventually, but he couldn't stay out of the military for long. He rejoined just before Desert Storm was announced, was told to suit up and take command of Alpha Squad.

Job: Medical Assistant
Appearance: Dirty blone hair, deep hazel eyes, slim figure.
Bio: August was born and raised in Chester, South Carolina but moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to go to school to be a Medical Assistant. Her dream was never to marry a solider but fate had something else in mind. When she moved to NC, she met a lovely bar tender at Bar Charlotte by the name of Victor. They soon got married and not too long afterwards, (about six months or so) he was deployed.

Appearance: tall and thin with brown hair and hazel eyes
Bio: grew up a normal life, spent a year at med school, and a year in cooking school. qualified enough to do her job. is not needed as much so gets every other week off.
