Honestly bro I really really really seriously suck at the intelligence area but if I can I'm gonna try to break the smart guy mold and use a dude that likes things that go boom if ya know what I mean. Haha

Maybe like cauliflower ear guy in the expendables. Imagine him. He was smart but he loved to blow stuff up haha

Everyone has he same guns (at least thats what it seems like) could I change that a bit too?

The guns, no, sorry, but I'm aiming for realism here, which means the weapons within SG will be as uniform as possible.

As for him liking to blow things up, well, we already have one character who's into that sort of stuff. I would suggest you instead, even if you're not good at the intelligence area, go with him being an interrogations specialist (aka torture), reconnaissance man, sniper, and just spin further on that approach instead.

For the guns, what choice do i have? Cause in real life a really despise the Glock. Is there a second hand gun? What about rifles? Ill take whatever there is on those lines.

just wondering wasn't this a mercenary group? You said realism, right? Most mercenary groups today, like Blackwater and Global Security, dont have a required set of guns to use. Theyre actually advised to buy their own. Same with uniforms and such. As long as they have the same color and the patches are the same then the uniform works. Im just pointing this out. So i guess what Im saying is "Is this a real Mercenary army or is this an army with no country?"

Well, it's designed after Blackwater, and more prominently, Executive Outcomes. But yeah, it's more like an army without a country than a mercenary army in that aspect. :D

And sorry, about the Glock, it'll have to do. Uniformity and all that. You can find the other weapons in a list further down on the main page. ;)

I chose the Chaingun and I took off the GL and replaced it with a vertical grip, added a detachable suppressor, and replaced the scope with a holographic. If that's cool. It does have an RIS system so I'd think that would be acceptable.

Im using the Block but I refuse to call it a Gl... GL... GGLL... oh you know what Im talking about haha I think we might reach a point where my guy throws it at someone to kill him. I like good ole fashion American pistols haha sorry

Are you an airsofter btw?

And nope, no airsofter, but I do work as a contracted soldier with the Swedish Army. :D

Well, given that nobody's answered me yet, I've gotten to work on my character.

Basically, since all the squad slots are filled, I've created an Indorian OC who works as a kind of freelancer. He fights only for honour and bloodlust (although he will certainly accept payment in the form of weapons and equipment), exiled from his society and basically following the mercenaries around because where they are, the fight is surely closeby. He'll pretty much work with the teams, and may turn into a form of villain later on.

EDIT: Character posted. I know that you're rigid about custom gear, but do remember that Valentine is technically not with SG - he's really just a rogue fighting for the thrill of it who happens to be operating with them since they always know where the next battle is.

Hey, sorry for not replying until now. Let me think about it for a day or two. I need to consider having a civilian/non-SG character in the roleplay as well, before I accept him. Hope you understand. :D

Also, folks, later today I'll get to posting the briefing, and then, there'll be some time for questions and the like for Captain Valentine. Since two characters have yet to report in, if they haven't posted before I get around to posting, I'm going to declare them dead and off the character list, and then we'll leave those positions open for the first, best person who wants to join, to take.
