Westen cursed his luck as he ran outside the blistering rain that sliced through his clothing like a knife. “the one night I forget to bring an umbrella and it decides to pour…Just my luck…” he thought to himself as he darted under an awning to catch his breath. He looked at the dark sky squinting to see if the rain would lighten up any time soon, but he couldn’t make anything out. With a shake of his head he ran out once more into the rain as the few cars on the narrow street splashed him, not that it made him any wetter, he was already soaked. A flash of lightning made him flinch. Not paying any attention to where he was going he ran straight into someone. “Oops, Sorry my bad.” He apologized.
